Long weekends are the perfect excuse to get together with your best friends, make the most of hosting a casual BBQ and of course, enjoy a tipple! To keep in line with the classic Australian summer vibe this long weekend, we have the perfect refreshment to match a simple BBQ menu or if you’re feeling a little more fancy like us, served alongside a slow-roasted lamb shoulder with lemon, garlic and rosemary marinade! While a chilled bubbles never goes a stray, we want to share our unique twist on an old favourite that we know you will love. It’s delicately refreshing with a subtle touch of citrus, the perfect addition to your long weekend and best shared with friends in the backyard. Enjoy!

Serves 4

You’ll need:

1 bottle of chilled white wine – any of the gorgeous drops in our ‘Fresh Whites’ pack would work perfectly.

1 bottle of chilled soda water

Thin wedges of lime

Chill four cocktail or wine glasses in the fridge for half an hour and then place ice and wedges of fresh lime in each glass. Add equal parts soda and your chosen drop, and for our little public holiday touch, stir each spritzer with a sprig of rosemary (and garnish, of course!) Simple, refreshing and delicious.
